How Does Remote Notary Work?
We provide Remote Online Notarization (RON) to New Mexico and Non-New Mexico Residents, physically anywhere in the U.S. or U.S. Territories, swiftly and securely using a tablet, computer, or smart phone.
Please ensure that you meet the following requirements before scheduling your appointment for eNotary.
- You are a United States Citizen.
- You are over the age of 18.
- You have a social security number.
- You have a valid Driver License or Identification Card.
- You have at least 5 years of credit history.
- You have a United States phone number.
- You have access to a Computer, Tablet or Smart Phone with audio and video capabilities along with internet access.
- Documents for notarization must be in the following formats: Microsoft Word 2000 – 2016, Microsoft Excel 2000 – 2016, PDF, RTF, TIF, JPG, BMP or PNG
- You are of sound mind, alert, and mentally competent at the time of signing.
- Additional requirements may apply based on the documents being signed.
*Remote notary will only work if using Google Chrome or Firefox on Windows or Mac
Schedule Your eNotary Appointment then Follow These Simple Steps that are REQUIRED before Notarization.
01 Send Your ID

02 Validation
Prior to your scheduled appointment you will receive an email from DocVerify
with a link to “Start Notary Transaction”. This link will validate your identity with a series of questions.
THE SIGNER MUST
complete this process prior to his or her appointment, or the documents will not be able to be notarized.
03 Join Session
Once you have successfully completed the identity verification, you will receive another email link to “Join E-Notary Session” prior to your scheduled appointment. Click on the link at your appointment time
and you will be immediately connected to a Remote Online Notary in our Office.
Helpful Tips for eNotary Session Compatibility:
- High speed broadband with all network and devices properly configured
- If using Windows or Mac the latest Google Chrome or Firefox browser is required.
- If using Android devices, the latest Google Chrome browser is required.
- If using IPhone or IPad MUST be IOS 11 or higher using latest Safari is required.
